It has been a long standing debate from various Christian organizations including the JWS upon to whom exactly was the " Lord" spoken about in the New Testament from to whom was the "Lord" spoken about in the old Testament.
I don't see the JWS accepting the trinity doctrine anytime soon.
The ironic part to this debate is that Jesus Christ or the foretold prophesied Messiah as one being a false god/Messiah or an act of paganism/ false teachings, which were derived from out their own religoius teachings.

leaving_quietly 2 days ago
WT isn't saying "Lord" is Jehovah in these footnotes. The footnotes are saying that those particular J references are translating "Lord" as "Jehovah" or "Jehovah God". For example, the footnote on 1 Pet 3:15 in Rbi8 says:
“The Christ as Lord,” אABC; TR, “the Lord God”; J7,8,11-14,16,17,24, “Jehovah God.”
This is saying that:
אABC translate it as "The Christ as Lord
TR translate as "the Lord God
J7,8,11-14,16,17,24 translate it as "Jehovah God"
At least, that's how I'm reading these footnotes.

I dunno, Terry. Tell us a story, about your day, or a past event. i love your storytelling .. that is your gift. Please share it with us. No offense intended, but yeah, think "mark twain", and the simple things in which you find meaning. I enjoy it when you talk about life like that.

It's hard to comment on this one, the JWS are so crazy nowadays! : ) xx t

The pedigree of this ambivalent belief is so interesting. How can anyone be someone else? Literal truth is never going to come to rescue us since the characters involved are mythical.
Only in myth can the irreconcilable become reconciled, that is its function.
Contemplate the mental cog-whirring which has occupied the religious minds over time in attempting to understand this story. It makes more sense when understood in its original setting.
It began in the solar mythos, as do most religious essentials; the fundamental legends drawn from the earliest farming communities of the late Stone Age. These were based on the mnemonics of oral tales describing the annual path of the stars, sun and moon as they passed through the twelve heavenly 'houses'. The legends of the Twelve Labours of Hercules exemplify a Greek version of the stories i.e. one momentous labour for each zodiacal month. The constellations of the ancients being used as markers in a calendar to facilitate the timing of the various duties throughout the farming year.
The supreme deity was the sun, and the Sun God fathered a solar son god born in the 'Virgin' (Virgo) three days after the annual death of the old sun on 22 December, which the astute might note is no longer the case due to what is called the precession of the equinoxes. (Son and sun are not to be confused... it's just a homophone in the English language and these stories are almost global).
To keep it as brief as possible; what was a compendium of orally transmitted stories about the heavens and the activities of its Gods became the framework for formal religious teaching.
The Egyptian Horus/Osiris legends carry forward the ideas with an ambiguous solar hero Osiris, who is also his father Horus. Just to make one startling connection with Jesus. Horus raised from the dead, as did Jesus, 'his friend' Lazarus -( Elazarus> El Osirus> Osiris). His other self!
I could go on but enough to say that most christian stories were already found in ancient pagan mythology two and a half thousand years before Jesus' name was appended to them.
Carl Jung recognized that the Horus/Osiris myth was the source of the Christian rising and dying saviour.
As a last point, note the convergence of all major religious festivals with the winter solstice; the death of the Sun and the rebirth three days later on Christmas day, next the spring equinox, the time when the solar deity is sacrificed and goes up to his heavenly father who is also a solar god.
The river of time flows but the myth in whatever dress remains, and so will the essential ambivalence of the identity of the solar deities.

First they'd have to say out loud that Jesus is Lord .... remember him? Doesn't get much mention in the Hall.
You'd probably get some serious " stink eye" for saying Jesus is Lord and Savior out loud at a meeting. A weird bunch they are,

The WTS/JWs has for long time been against the old Catholicism derived doctrine of the trinity, so I don't see that ever changing. That being the father, the son and holy spirit are all parts of a greater god.
The only changes to doctrines come about by the WTS. is when its needed, such as the " This Generation " , now " Overlapping Generations" calculated back to the 1914 doctrine..
That too will most likely change overtime.

The early Christians invented a new god from older gods and they made almost every scripture refuring to Jehovah also apply to Jesus. Jesus also is the Amen the good Shepard (Tamuz) , the bright moring star (Inanna) light of the world (Shamash) first born of creation (Shu) Lord of lords king of kings (Marduk) king of righteousness (Ra) . Just a few examples. Jesus becomes all gods to all people, and all gods point to the one true God of all the SUN.
P.s. read Romans 10: 9 then 13 in the JW bible and it says it right there that Jesus is Jehovah.

Terry, I love your posts
and I absolutely pine for the day the WT backtracks on doctrines like THESE, because proceeding from THESE are schisms that will lay waste to, and likely end the JW religion as we have come to know it...
But, I don't think we there yet. They can pay the bills that keep the lights on, so...on we go.

Then again, part of me wonders if this is not exactly the type of compromise the WT will find itself having to make for the sake of political necessity...
What I mean is, right now, the WT doesn't have seem to have much in the way of religious or political allies.
Maybe they will find themselves in the position of having to make doctrinal compromises to find common ground with the American Evangelical bunch? Maybe this is how they survive?

How would they get around the scripture then where Jesus says; "I don't know no man knows only the father in heaven knows.." a poor quote Im sure you all know the one.

The greatest impediment to clear thinking by people who chose faith above all else is their unsubstantiated belief that the Bible is the inerrant word of God.
Believers well know about the feeling of certainty when it comes to their religious vision, they love to announce it but they cannot verify it. It is the cart before the horse.
Over the centuries, since Roman law mandated its own brand of worship through the religious organ of the Catholic Church, the idea had been established by universal reckoning... and punishment if denied... that the Bible always told the truth.
We, all of us here, would not be taking sides on this issue were it not for this grotesque distortion of reality courtesy of the Church of the Dark Ages.
Instead if we had taken evidence from the natural world, all would recognize the plain, coherent and evidential logic of Darwin's explanation of how life diversified from a common stock. One hundred and fifty seven years later after intense scrutiny by hundreds of thousands of scientists, no one has spotted a damning conflict in the theorum nor can they because it is factual. All subsequent major discoveries in the field have confirmed and further illuminated its truthfulness.
Not to believe this demonstrates a wilful ignorance of the facts of life as geology reveals.
To believe in creation demonstrates a person places a blind conviction in a spirit world and the thousand consequential and idiotic beliefs which follow from this primary error...none of which can be proved. The foundation of religious thought is whimsical, unprovable and therefore logically cannot be built further upon.
Humans are of course more than logical machines, we are far more... we are sentient; we feel for others and often want to be like them and be accepted by them. Perhaps unlike animals we greatly enjoy using emotion and imagination but what is the point of enjoying the emotional pay-back which comes from the certainty of belief in the unknowable... when contrary evidence within our grasp is testable like evolution is?
Surely we are observing a grave flaw in the human psyche?

There is evidence to support that some aspects of creationism are a result of how our thinking processes evolved.
eg. an article on this by a lecturer in developmental psychology
https://www.theguardian.com/science/head-quarters/2016/mar/31/intelligent-design-popular-evolution-creationism
"Developmental psychologists have identified two cognitive biases in very young children that help to explain the popularity of intelligent design. The first is a belief that species are defined by an internal quality that cannot be changed (psychological essentialism). The second is that all things are designed for a purpose (promiscuous teleology). These biases interact with cultural beliefs such as religion but are just as prevalent in children raised in secular societies. Importantly, these beliefs become increasingly entrenched, making formal scientific instruction more and more difficult as children get older."
We're wired to try and make sense of our environment within a comfortable frame of reference and we automatically look for ways to interpret data based upon prior experience. Exceptionally useful a lot of the time, bit of a hindrance at others.

The dead hand of Plato.
When my daughter was very young she identified every wild animal as "cow" or "duck". We live on a farm.
We took her to Edinburgh zoo and as we pushed her buggy up Corstorphine Hill she continued to point at all the enclosures and pronounce them to be either a cow or a duck. At last we reached the giraffe enclosure. She gazed silently up at these giants with a look of confusion.
Her simple essentialism needed a revision.

Excellent article Mephis. It's little wonder that Jesus' words are put in the Bible to say that the kingdom belongs to those who are like children i.e. naive. Hardly surprising that the WTBTS want only those individuals stuck in the same limited, undeveloped and uncritical mode like a child who still believes an invisible man must have made everything.
It's endearing to see our kids making category mistakes, we know they will develop but quite appalling when adults force others to believe that the child's approach is best.

The case is still ongoing so I can't say much, but get this: there is this brave polish woman, Danuta Kubik (her blog in Polish), who suffered a lot from the organization, because of elders who disfellowshipped her for "brazen conduct" (i.e. not obeying her husband, an alcoholic and wife batterer, and going with her problems to legal authorities) some 20 years ago. Since then people she cared about turned back on her which caused her much stress, especially that she truly believed in God and that the organization (JW) is his tool. After putting herself together and battling depression for years she fought for her rights and good name, first by writing numerous letters to the polish branch office and then by going to courts (because of how the elders, one of them especially, treated her badly and coerced others against her). Because the polish justice system leaves much to wish for, this took some time. In the meantime, polish branch did something pretty unprecedented – they've agreed that some mistakes were made and that they're reverting the decision to disfellowship her. The following announcement was made in the congregation: "Danuta Kubik has never stopped being Jehovah's Witness". The damage was done though, so Danuta still sought justice. She just wanted a public apology from the elder who insisted on DF'ing her. But the response was: "we don't do public apologies in the organization".

Newest Watchtower revelations from heaven indicate the importance of color in teaching The Truth about God.
The Governing Body has prayed fervently over this new teaching and Jehovah's Witnesses the world around receive it gratefully as "food at the proper time".
In view of the importance placed on color, as found in God's Holy Word the Bible, the Governing Body has deemed it necessary for a new understanding on important spiritual matters. (see link)...
http://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1200001009?q=color&p=par
We can see from the aforementioned information that color in the Scriptures should not be neglected, as it plays a vital role in understanding God's plan for mankind. The Governing Body is pleased to release this new information to God's people, especially so close to the end.
As is clear, with this "increased light", specific colors in the Bible have important meaning.
For instance,
◦"White is the color most often mentioned in the Scriptures. Besides its descriptive use, it also serves as a symbol of righteousness and spiritual cleanness. (Re 3:4; 7:9, 13, 14) The white horse, as portrayed at Revelation 6:2 and 19:11, symbolizes clean, righteous warfare under Jesus Christ’s direction."
Yes white is so very important. However,
◦"Purple and reddish purple are often referred to in the Scriptures, although there are no distinctions drawn between the many varieties of purple shades produced by the different dyes or dye methods used. (Ex 25:4; Nu 4:13; Eze 27:7, 16; Da 5:7, 29; Mr 15:17, 20; Lu 16:19; Re 17:4) Because of its costliness, this color often was associated with or symbolized riches, honor, and royal majesty."
◦
Purple, therefore correctly represents our King's "royal majesty"and hence clearly, and unquestionably "the thousand years" when Jesus sets all matters straight on the Earth. Therefore, the Governing Body has determined that it is, without question highly important that Jehovah's people on earth recognize things according to their color. Such being the case, the color "purple" correctly designates the 1000 years of Christ's rule.
Hence, "we must advertise, advertise, advertise" Jesus' Purple Reign.
biblexaminer
biblexaminer 2 days ago
In unrelated news, the Governing Body has determined that it is necessary to litigate for Brother Prince's fortunes, as Brother Prince's lyrics make definite reference to Christ and his understanding of the Kingdom which he could only have gotten at the Kingdom Hall. Thus it is clear to all that Brother Prince intended his fortunes be placed in the caring hands of God's messengers.

These photos were taken in 2013.
Publishers chatting away during the field service were quite common around my neighborhood few years ago.
but they are rarely seen in these days.

I've been out in field service in Japan before. Went from door to door where most people were out or did not answer the door & also held placards at a train station. It was a complete waste of time...

Giodarno, yes the decrease in publishers is shown in the Yearbook and has been happening over several successive years. I dont have the numbers on hand but will try to get hold of them when I have access to my home computer (I'm on a tablet at the moment). The general Japanese population is also decreasing.

What is often overlooked about the statistics in Japan is how it relates to the culture. Doing things together and being part of a group is ingrained in the psyche of Japanese people especially the women. If you were in a congregation and were not a pioneer you were basically snubbed. So the number of pioneers in the 70's to the late 90's reflected the need to be accepted in the group rather than motivated by any love for Jehovah. To some degree that is still true but things are changing especially with the modern generation brought up on a diet of social networking and the Internet. The incidences of mental health problems related to such "groupthink" is being understood more and an undercurrent of rebellion against the pressure to conform is steadily eroding the number of pioneers in the congregations all over Japan. The young people who were encouraged (forced) to get baptized and then pioneer often straight from school missing out on a higher education as the "thing to do" are now realizing that there is an alternative and that it is OK to break out of the mold. It is not easy and there still is a lot of pressure to be part of the group but the effect of the new thinking is clearly being seen in the falling number of pioneers and those who are now see it is OK to drop out of the pioneer ranks.Probably there will be an even more noticeable drop in the future as the realization that the promise of "Armageddon is round the corner" has not come true and that many of the "old guard" who gave up everything for the pioneer service, including having children, are starting to understand that the hope of never dying is also proving to be an unfounded promise. Quite a few are facing old age with no pension and no children to help support them. The younger ones don't want to be in the same boat.Things are changing in Japan and the GB is definitely worried about it.

Well then I have to say GOOD FOR JAPAN. Good for them, because it means as a whole they are waking up. That's a lot more than I can say for the good old U.S. of A. Because they are not waking up as a whole. Yes, there are a many of us here in the U.S. that are waking up, but there are many a mile to go before the consensus is to "wake up people". But one day, one day I say, well, never give up is what I say...

Anyway, I know a lot of people here, just about everyone in fact, knows that the Watchtower claims to be the faithful and discreet slave. Now any sensible Christian knows Jesus was speaking metaphorically. A parable if you will. But even if you take it literally, the Watchtower, by definition of the Bible, cannot be the Faithful and Discreet slave Jesus spoke about.
The Bible describes a good slave as such (This one scripture most importantly)
1 Corinthians 4:1-2
Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
Faithfulness. All this time I've been unable to answer the scripture that describes the GB as the slave other than, it was a parable. Let's look at what the scripture actually says about the faithful and discreet slave
Matthew 24:45-47
Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.
HMMMM.
Has the Watchtower given food at the proper time? According to all their false prophecies, no.
But most IMPORTANTLY. Has the Watchtower been faithful???.........
NOPE http://ask.un.org/faq/14501
According to the Watchtower's own publications and doctrines,
"No, the UN is not a blessing, even though the religious clergy of Christendom and the rabbis of Jewry pray heaven’s blessing upon that organization. It is really “the image of the wild beast,” the visible political, commercial organization of “the god of this system of things,” Satan the Devil. So the UN will soon be destroyed along with that beastly organization." Watchtower 1984 Sep 15 p.15
"Such dwellers on earth wondered admiringly at the revived scarlet wild beast. Much reliance was placed in its ability to be a power for world peace and security. Great expectations were held out for it, and it was given designations that were really blasphemous from the standpoint of the Holy Bible. How so? In that to this wild beast powers were ascribed and tasks were assigned that really belong to Gods kingdom and its Messiah or its Christ. Back in 1919 the scarlet League of Nations had been seriously called the political expression of the Kingdom of God on earth. And now the United Nations, the successor of that League, has been called the best means for peace, yes, even more than that, the last hope for peace. So today we can see in actuality what the apostle John saw in symbol, that that scarlet-colored wild beast is full of blasphemous names. Those expressions of admiration for it turn false religionists, not to the worship of Jehovah God the Creator, but to idolatry of a man-made creation, the worship of a political image, the worship of an international organization for world peace and security. Rev. 17:3." Watchtower 1963 Nov 15 p.697
"The United Nations is actually a worldly confederacy against Jehovah God and his dedicated Witnesses on earth." Watchtower 1987 Sep 1 p.20
So according to them the United Nations is the "very image of the wild beast". It's essentially satan! However we see that the Watchtower later went on to embrace the United Nations as acceptable and even noble.
"We cannot but admire the high principles embodied in the League of Nations... Truly this is idealistic, and approximates in a small way that which God has foretold that he will bring about after this great time of trouble." Watch Tower 1919 Feb 15 p.51
"THE preamble to the United Nations Charter expresses these noble aims: We the peoples of the United Nations determined to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, which twice in our lifetime has brought untold sorrow to mankind, . . . and [desiring] to unite our strength to maintain international peace and security, . . . have resolved to combine our efforts to accomplish these aims.
Did the UN accomplish these aims? Did it get the nations to unite their strength and maintain peace and security? No, not so far, although the UN has sincerely tried to be a significantly better way than the League of Nations.
Jehovahs Witnesses firmly believe that the United Nations is going to play a major role in world events in the very near future. No doubt these developments will be very exciting. And the results will have a far-reaching impact on your life. We urge you to ask Jehovahs Witnesses in your neighborhood for more details on this matter. The Bible clearly paints a picture showing that the United Nations will very shortly be given power and authority. The UN will then do some very astonishing things that may well amaze you. And you will be thrilled to learn that there is yet a better way near at hand that will surely bring eternal peace and security!"
Awake! 1991 Sep 8 p.10
Well well well. Look who apparently turned their back on God. Have they been faithful to God? NOT AT ALL! The "faithful and discreet slave" turned right around and partnered with satan's organization secretly for 9 years! Therefore, they CANNOT be the faithful and discreet slave, and the fact that they keep claiming to be so actually makes them look worse. It's like when a husband or wife gets caught cheating and then they try to turn around and say they are the faithful one in the relationship. Uh, yeah. NOPE! Furthermore, no witness can say that the Watchtower is only made up of imperfect men who made a mistake because we see Job in the Bible who never turned his back on God ONCE, even though he was purposely pushed to do so. HE was a faithful and discreet slave! The very picture of it!
Now I know there are other cases when the Watchtower was unfaithful to God, but the UN is the most recent and there's verifiable proof! When I go out, I might try this tatic on a jw to see how they take it. For others who want to try it out as well, here's the dialogue I will try to stick to (I know the jws tend to digress like nothing else, but I'll keep em on track)
Me: Hi there! Are you Jehovah's Witnesses?
Jw: Why yes we are!
Me: Wow, I've seen you guys around but you never can know with the Mormons and the regular evangelists out there, but I've heard of your religion and so forth, could you explain it to me in brief detail?
Jw: Of course! (Continues to explain the cult as something it's truly not)
Me: Wow! Ok! That's interesting! Hey, I've heard you guys have a uh, sorta....what's it called? Um....Faithful and discreet slave as your main leader, who's that?
Jw: Oh, our leader is Jehovah (Continues to babble on about not following men)
Me: *Internally is laughing my head off at the crap she's trying to sell to me* Oh I see, but do you guys have like.. the uh, Ultimate shepherd who sorta guides your organization?
Jw: Well yes! They are the Faithful and discreet slave from Matthew 24:45-47
Me: Huh, Ok, well here, let me do a a quick google search and see what pops up.
Jw: OH NO! You see, we don't use google results, we use jw.org and if you jus...
Me: *Cuts off jw* Oh I use Google search, but I'll also take a look at your website, in fact, I''ll go to your website first and then I'll do a google search.
Jw: Ok (If they persist, don't give in, do the search!)
Me: Ok, "Who is the Faithful and Discreet slave", *reads the article with intensity and focus*. Alright! so they are the faithful and wise servant huh?
Jw: Yes! They give us spiritual food at the proper time!
Me: Well, I like to be thorough in my knowledge and it seems like they certainly feed you guys! But I'm more of a skeptic than I myself like to be, so I'm just going to do a quick little search to see if they've been faithful!
Jw: Oh, there are apostates out there who...
Me: *Cuts off jw* Don't worry about that, I believe I am impartial to the truth so if there is obvious evidence that contradicts their claims then I know what to believe. *googles "Watchtower" and reads, settles on the UN subject and website". So what do you guys think about the UN? There's some talk about the UN bringing peace on earth and whatnot....
Jw: Oh, no. Jehovah will be the only one to bring peace on earth.
Me: Can't Jehovah do that through the UN?
Jw: Well, the UN is apart of this world and the ruler of this world of course is satan, so essentially, the UN is satan's organization.
Me: *Insert PatrickStewartMildShock.gif* Are you serious!?
Jw: Oh yes, the Bible describes the UN as the Wild Beast!
Me: Well, that's kinda awkward.......
Jw: Oh, are you working for, or apart of the UN?
Me: No.....but your organization secretly was for 9 years.....
Jw: Um, no. That must be a lie the exjws tell others to discredit Jehovah's organization.....
Me: Well I'm sorry, but it's not the exjws saying this, it's the UN and your organization saying this *Proceeds to show Jw documents and website confirming association*
Jw: No that can't be right.....
Me: The UN can't lie about their association, everyone who isn't apart of or against their organization would go nuts, and if it weren't true, wouldn't the Watchtower be fighting this claim publicly? I mean by your technicality, it's association with satan's organization. I'd be outraged and swinging and kicking if my name was unrightfully associated with satan's.
Jw: Well......um..... it says here that they did it to use the UN Library.....
Me: The problem with that is, you've never had to actually become a member to use the UN library, it's standard protocol that you just ask for a pass. They'd run a background check and if you are clear, you'd be able to use it freely. You and I would be able to use it if we wanted to without obtaining membership. The Watchtower actually BECAME a member and they had to sign contracts saying that they would agree to abide by the UN's rules and promote their agenda every time they renewed their membership which is about every year I believe. This rule hasn't changed, ever. I took a political science class....
Jw:...........that's interesting
Me: Well, this also leaves another problem, your leaders haven't been faithful to God. They became apart of satan's organization and agreed to their rules and agenda. I'm sorry, but by biblical terms, there's absolutely no way the Watchtower can be the faithful and discreet slave. Job was a faithful and discreet slave. He never turned his back on God or listened to or accepted satan once, even after all he had been through. Jesus never turned his back on God as well, even when God allowed him to be brutally tortured and killed. It seems to me the Watchtower wasn't even pushed to be apart of the UN, it was their choice the entire time. And I'm sure God would never tell His servants to go to satan and abide by his rules and agendas for 9 years. Jesus said He's sending us out among the wolves but He never said to become APART of the wolves.....
Jw:.............
Me: I'm sorry, but I can't be apart of any organization like that. They weren't faithful, and I looked on your website, and I don't see any repentance statement saying they were wrong to so do. But it seems to me, you had no idea that they were apart if the UN for 9 years...
Jw: I had no idea.....
Me: Well if you didn't know about this, what else don't you know? Why didn't your leaders tell you about such a gross sin? Why did they hide this from you? That's what I'd like to know if I were you. I'd want the truth, not matter how good or bad it is......
Jw:....Yeah well.....
Me: Anyway, I've got to go, I'm sorry you had to find out like this. Maybe you should do some in depth research of your own so nothing can get the jump on you like this again.
Jw: Have a good day......
Me: You too.... *Secretly smiles at the camera* END SCENE

Do you have the dates of the printing of the 4 awake artichles saying positive things about the UN?
DATA-DOG
DATA-DOG a day ago
Every time you read a positive comment about the UN, it's during the WTBTS's time as an NGO with the UN. As an NGO, they had the responsibility to uphold the ideals of the UN.
I believe there are some specific threads on this subject. If you want the true flavor of what the WTBTS was actually saying when complimenting the UN, just insert "Satan/Demons/Demonic/Satanic" into the sentence.

The other day I was perusing on Facebook and stumbled on a sponsored advertisement for Ring Home Security. The commercial was saying how you can monitor unwanted soliciting without answering the door. Anyway, the solicitors at the door were JW's offering the awake and watchtower. The homeowner (through an intercom) declined and the jdubs were on their way.
Here it is: http://youtu.be/VzakNorPBnM

If the security company had hired some actors to portray JWs, that would be different. Like I said, I could be wrong.

It seems to me that if someone comes to a stranger's door uninvited that the householder has every right to record the visit and to use the recording in any legal way. There may be restrictions in some locations as to using the recording in court (consent issues) but that's a whole 'nuther discussion.

Anna: you're partway there. The private individual could do whatever they want with the video. However, in the case of advertising or some sort of TV show, the person has to give consent.
Ever watch one of those candid camera shows? Some faces are blurred out and others aren't. The ones that aren't blurred gave consent (before or after the recording). The others didn't for whatever reason.

newest watchtower revelations from heaven indicate the importance of color in teaching the truth about god.. the governing body has prayed fervently over this new teaching and jehovah's witnesses the world around receive it gratefully as "food at the proper time".. in view of the importance placed on color, as found in god's holy word the bible, the governing body has deemed it necessary for a new understanding on important spiritual matters.
(see link).... http://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1200001009?q=color&p=par.
we can see from the aforementioned information that color in the scriptures should not be neglected, as it plays a vital role in understanding god's plan for mankind.

The religious mind and evolution
by Half banana in Watchtower Society / JW.org

the greatest impediment to clear thinking by people who chose faith above all else is their unsubstantiated belief that the bible is the inerrant word of god.. believers well know about the feeling of certainty when it comes to their religious vision, they love to announce it but they cannot verify it.
it is the cart before the horse.. over the centuries, since roman law mandated its own brand of worship through the religious organ of the catholic church, the idea had been established by universal reckoning... and punishment if denied... that the bible always told the truth.. we, all of us here, would not be taking sides on this issue were it not for this grotesque distortion of reality courtesy of the church of the dark ages.. instead if we had taken evidence from the natural world, all would recognize the plain, coherent and evidential logic of darwin's explanation of how life diversified from a common stock.
one hundred and fifty seven years later after intense scrutiny by hundreds of thousands of scientists, no one has spotted a damning conflict in the theorum nor can they because it is factual.

Jesus asked, "Who really is the faithful and discreet slave.." Maybe he didn't know?? Well, don't worry! Even though Jesus didn't cite any sources, DD figured it out! Enjoy!!
Evidently, "The Faithful Slave", isn't just the Governing Body of the WTBTS, feeding the many with their pudgy hands. The DTS, Dallas Theological Seminary, must also make up the composite/singular FDS. Why? The members of the DTS are the "some bible scholars" who insist that the "Evil Slave" is hypothetical!
Thats right! The nu-light from Jeehibbity-hop which all JWs must believe and preach is actually from the NET Bible scholars who are, for the most part, based at the DTS! If the nu-light is correct, and Jeehoober used the DTS to distribute spiritual food at the proper time, then the GB cannot claim the title of FDS!
It seems that Geoffrey Jackson was correct when he told the Australian Royal Commission that claiming to be God's sole channel would be presumptuous. LOL!
Yep, O'l Jeehobo has resorted to using worldly scholars from false religious seminaries ( Higher Education = Gun in mouth ) to reveal nu-light!
If the "some bible scholars" are wrong, then the "Evil Slave" must be real.
You know, I've always heard that the greatest trick the Devil ever pulled off, was making people believe he didn't exist.
Question: Who benefits from the belief that the "Evil Slave" doesn't exist?

True, Phizzy. I just wanted to find out who the scholars mentioned in the WT magazine were. The WTBTS gave no sources, so I had to research it myself.
So, if anyone needs the info, here it is. The GB got their nu-light from "false religious" scholars who are deeply involved in Satan's system of higher education.
Does anyone still trust the GB?

we are all familiar with the story of the god jehovah saving jerusalem from the assyrians by sending and angel that killed 185000 soldier's.
well heradodus a 5 century bce historian related a story he heard from egyptian priests.
they told him that the god ptah sent rats into the camp of the assyrians which ate the bow strings of the troops and they then left in dismay, saving egypt.

the other day i was perusing on facebook and stumbled on a sponsored advertisement for ring home security.
the commercial was saying how you can monitor unwanted soliciting without answering the door.
anyway, the solicitors at the door were jw's offering the awake and watchtower.

Does anyone still trust the GB?

according to quantum theory and non-locality, two particles, can act in unity.
for example, take a and b (photons or electrons for example).
pair them, then separate them, and put them on either side of the planet.

we are all familiar with the story of the god jehovah saving jerusalem from the assyrians by sending and angel that killed 185000 soldier's.
well heradodus a 5 century bce historian related a story he heard from egyptian priests.
they told him that the god ptah sent rats into the camp of the assyrians which ate the bow strings of the troops and they then left in dismay, saving egypt.
