Matthew 24:14 And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

work or activity that is wasteful or pointless but gives the appearance of having value.
___________________________
In 1968, Jehovah’s Witnesses published a little blue book, The Truth That Leads to Eternal Life.
Inside the book, a controversial claim was made about the year 1975.
Specifically, it was stated 1975 would be “The end of 6,000 years of man’s existence on Earth.” _________
For the next 8 years, Jehovah’s Witnesses distributed 65 million of those books worldwide (for a contribution of .25 cents. (That’s about 16 million $$ dollars worth.) https://news.google.com/newspapersnid=1346&dat=19741218&id=caROAAAAIBAJ&sjid=0PoDAAAAIBAJ&pg=7210,5306041
_____________
HOW MANY people were actually warned about this phony boondoggle event?
For those 8 years of “warning” about the impending doom involving worldwide famine and overpopulation, the best Jehovah's Witnesses could do was sell 65 million books, with millions of people yet to be born even while the parents of those babies still were reading them!
18,144,000 babies were born while Jehovah's Witnesses were "warning" about 1975.
WE NEED TO ASK a logical question at this point. Since the majority of Earth’s population weren’t reached:
HOW EFFECTIVE was this ‘warning’?
__________
Let’s create a “best case” scenario just for the sake of a thought experiment, shall we?
Currently, we’ll say there are 8 million JW’s worldwide, each spending 10 hours a month.
The current population of Earth is 7 BILLION!
How effective can Jehovah’s Witnesses be failing to reach the other 6 Billion each month?
But wait--there’s more!
Women are pregnant all over the world. Every day women are getting pregnant and giving birth.
There are 9 months worth of babies on the way at any moment in time, or (5,013,000 pending).
Each day = 216,000 babies born
Each month = 657,000 babies born
WHAT’s WRONG with this PICTURE?
_____________
The obvious conclusion is this: it is mathematically impossible to fulfill Matthew 24: 14 If God truly was using Jehovah’s Witnesses!
_______________________________________________________________
Note: The little blue book, when reprinted, no longer contained doomsday predictions! Why? Not only was 1975 not the year of worldwide famine and overpopulation, it wasn’t marked by the commencement of the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ! All those man hours were spent on FALSE PROPHECY!
The entire 8 years spent by every member of Jehovah’s Witnesses contacting as many people and baptizing them as quickly as possible was ALL FOR NOTHING unless you count the $16 million dollars made off the contributions for the books or the increase in membership under false pretenses. Honestly, this was all an enormous waste of everybody’s time, energy, and efforts.
_________
Who set this worthless activity into motion? Where else could such an embarrassing historical failure be rewarded like this? It was the leadership of Jehovah’s Witnesses under Nathan H. Knorr and Fred Franz. Subsequently, Knorr died and Franz was promoted to the Presidency of the Watchtower Organization.
If you ask any member of Jehovah’s Witnesses today about these events they’ll give you a blank stare and shrug it off as mere propaganda created by former members lying and exaggerating.
But, we know who the real liars are and how feckless their activities are, don’t we?

Nice post!😊
If God were truly blessing the dubs then we would see mass conversions similar to what was seen in the first century.

Not to mention having virtually no contact with about 1/2 of the world's population (China, India, Muslim nations).
One more opportunity to post my thought:
If there really were a "Jehovah" as the JWs paint him, and he really did commission them to perform a "worldwide preaching work", he'd execute the lot of them in a giant fiery hailstone for the piss-poor muck-up they've made of the assignment.

Considering how 'recent' this event was, we should be flabbergasted at how easily Jehovah's Witnesses have been able to escape unscathed from such publicity.
We can surely state this with confidence: if it had happened in the age of the Internet, it would have made the Organization a laughingstock on a scale 100 times greater.
As it is, this is the best possible true propaganda to use against them.
The claims made in the"Truth" book were outrageous exaggerations which didn't stand up to the falsification of a mere eight years!
Entire paragraphs were rewritten or replaced.
_____
"By 1975 civil disorder, anarchy, military dictatorships, runaway inflation, transportation breakdowns and chaotic unrest will be the order of the day in many of the hungry nations."
_________
Compare all of this nonsense with what was said in 1955:
"The very fact that, as part of Jehovah's secret, no one today is able to find out how much time Adam and later Eve lived during the closing days of the sixth creative period, so no one can now determine when six thousand years of Jehovah's present rest day come to an end."

And what about the Truth book perpetuating the now-abandoned claim that the generation old enough to discern the start of World War One would not have passed away before the end of this system of things?
That has also gone the way of the do-do bird.

With the explosion of cell phone use, at some point people in remote places will have access to the internet. Countries such as China, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, or other regions hitherto inaccessible to the Kingdom message will have the ability to study all the Watchtower literature!
Surely all right hearted individuals in these areas will log on to JW.org and realize the error of their ways, while those who choose to ignore "The Truth" will confirm their alliance with Satan, therefore fulfilling the requirement of preaching to all the nations set forth in Matthew 24:14, and setting in motion the thrilling commencement of Armageddon and the destruction of unbelievers!
Or not.

A boondoggle perhaps for the readership of these books and magazines put out by the Watchtower Corporation, but they were certainly advantageous from a publishing house's perspective in enhancing attention to these pieces of literature and the organization overall.
The self indulgent corruption is realized when its acknowledged that F Franz used this 6000 year dating scheme 30 years previously before using it to create 1975.
A lot bad things went down that effected many people who were JWS at the time instigating some to even commit suicide.

what's up with jw parents taking their minor children to such desolate places?
like the english family that took their little kids to the jungles of ecuador, and the australians that took their little ones to norfolk island where hardly anyone lives, and they are the only children in a congregation of 11 publishers?
is this a new form of child abuse?

on the way, at a place where they spent the night, the lord met him and tried to kill him.
but zipporah took a flint and cut off her son's foreskin, and touched moses' feet with it, and said, "truly you are a bridegroom of blood to me!
it was then she said, "a bridegroom of blood by circumcision.

i assume they get most of it from cash donations and assets left in wills.
there may also be some income from invested assets.
i guess they get a lot of money from old jws who die childless or with only df'd kids.geographically i assume they get it mostly from a few countries that have many publishers and strong economies.

according to quantum theory and non-locality, two particles, can act in unity.
for example, take a and b (photons or electrons for example).
pair them, then separate them, and put them on either side of the planet.
