A post to my readers about gay. com

Dear Readers,

I know that gay . com is a same-sex dating site. A gay friend of mind told me about some articles on there that would be of interest. I cannot believe that whole "jail the gays" bill passed in Uganda.  Being LGBT is not a choice. Being a gay man is not a choice.  Two or more men having gay sex is a choice, but it is a choice that does not harm anyone and is a normal and natural response to expressing one's sexuality. The Uganda legislators don't understand anything surrounding scientific findings around homosexuality, they really shouldn't pretend like they do. Even if being gay was a "choice", society has no right to "discourage" homosexuality. If being gay were a "choice", consenting adults would and should have every right to make that "decision". I'd support the right for people to do it, because we have the right to make choices as long as they are not hurting anyone else. The homophobic bigots are the ones who need to rehabilitate themselves and society should assist them in doing so. Gays don't need to be "rehabilitated" and they don't need society's "assistance" with "rehabilitation".  I don't believe that if homosexuality was a "choice" that LGBT have "lost the argument" for gaining their civil rights in Uganda. It would only prove that Uganda is an oppressive and totalitarian government that doesn't respect the right for people to make choices in their lives that are not hurting anyone. Homosexuality isn't due to "nurture", homosexuality is due to nature. Homophobia is due to nurture, not nature. Thank you so much for your understanding on why I posted these articles from this particular website ( I'm glad it wasn't pornographic. I have nothing against porn, I just don't want to post anything sexually graphic on my blog) and thank you for reading this article!

Sincerely,

B.W.
