PREFACE
This work is given to the Society for Humanistic Mormonism and to the public in pursuance of the commandments of reason.
As concerning the manner of translation and correction, it is evident, from the testimony of those who were conversant with the facts that it was done by direct revelation of logical thinking, common sense, and rationality.
It is declared in The Book of Reason that “many parts which are plain and most rational” have been taken away from The Book of Mormon:
“For behold, they have taken away from the gospel of Reason, many parts which are plain and most rational; and also many covenants of reason have been taken away; and all this have they done, that they might pervert the right ways of Science, for money, power, and gain; that they might blind people from using their own reason and understanding to come to rational conclusions about the nature of reality and this universe they live in. This they do to enslave the mind of humans to superstition and folly, so they might control and dominate over the minds of humanity for their own gain as prophets of superstition through their religious dogmas which harm humanity: wherefore, thou seest that after the book hath gone forth through the hands of the great and abominable church with its 1.7 billion shopping mall, while the homeless languished outside, that there are many plain and most rational things taken away from the book, which they called the Book of Mormon; and after these plain and most rational things were taken away, it goeth forth unto all the nations of the Gentiles, not bringing Enlightenment but rather superstition upon substitution, not according to Science, but according to the falsehoods of superstition and religious dogma. Thus the Book of Reason hath been corrupted and shall be corrected by the Prophet of Reason the Seer of Science in these Latter-days.” ----1st Nephi 3:168-175, The Book of Reason: Another Testament of Science, Enlightened Version
The work of translation to bring back that which was “plain and most rational” was begun in October 2014 and continues to this day. This revelation of reason and correction of The Book of Mormon, (now titled with it’s more enlightened and corrected title The Book of Reason: Another Testament of Science) is ongoing via the revelations of Reason and Science through “the Prophet of Reason the Seer of Science.” The Latter-day Humanistic Saints desired at the founding of “the only true and living [Society] upon the face of the whole earth, with which [Science] is well pleased” (D&C 1:30, Enlightened Version) scriptures for which they could live by according to their new and enlightened humanistic religion. Humanistic Mormons everywhere pleaded and meditated daily that the Prophet of Reason, the Seer of Science would produce such a work from his rational mind. Their meditations and pleas were answered and this work is presented to the world not only as a guide for Humanistic Mormons but for all people of reason everywhere. It is believed that by following The Book of Reason the most correct (and the most rational) book of any book on the face of the earth that one can be led to a most Reasonable Life of Reason. Because this translation is the first and goes over some of the most important points for a Life of Reason, it was believed that it ought to be published as soon as the Prophet of Reason deemed it worthy of the world to read. That time hath now come “for they shall be taught unto all nations, kindreds, tongues and people.” Thus all who read this book shall gain enlightenment and rationality in their lives showing the path towards wisdom, philosophy, reason, science, and compassion, and the way out of religious superstition and into the sunlight of Pure Reason.

This Enlightened Version of The Book of Mormon was compared to the 1953 printing of the 1908 edition of the Book of Mormon as published by Herald Publishing House for the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The 1953 copyright has expired and the text is in the public domain, which was carefully reexamined and compared with Reason and Science and corrected in this Enlightened Version of The Book of Mormon; now known as The Book of Reason: Another Testament of Science, with some verse changes.

Be it known unto all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people, unto whom this work shall come, that we, through the grace of Science, and our Reason, have seen the word document which contain this record, which is a record of the people of Reason, and also of the people of Science, their brethren, and also of the people of Philosophy, who came before our current science; and we also know that this document has been translated by the gift and power of Reason, for Reason’s voice hath declared it unto our minds; wherefore we know of a surety, that the work is true. And we also testify that we have seen the words which are upon the document; and they have been shewn unto us by the power of Reason, and not of man or woman. And we declare with words of soberness, that the Prophet of Reason came down from the Ivory Tower, and he brought and laid before our eyes, that we beheld and saw the document, and the words thereon; and we know that it is by the grace of Science, and our Reason, that we beheld and bear record that these things are true; and it is rationally marvelous in our eyes, nevertheless, the voice of the Reason commanded us that we should bear record of it; wherefore, to be obedient unto the commandments of Reason, we bear testimony of these things. And we know that if we are faithful in Reason, we shall rid our garments of the irrationality of all men and women, and be found spotless before the judgment seat of Reason, and shall dwell with Reason and Science eternally in the endless universes. And the honor be to Science, and to Reason, and to Philosophy, which is one. Amen.

PREFACE
This work is given to the Society for Humanistic Mormonism and to the public in pursuance of the commandments of reason.
As concerning the manner of translation and correction, it is evident, from the testimony of those who were conversant with the facts that it was done by direct revelation of logical thinking, common sense, and rationality.
It is declared in The Book of Reason that “many parts which are plain and most rational” have been taken away from The Book of Mormon:
“For behold, they have taken away from the gospel of Reason, many parts which are plain and most rational; and also many covenants of reason have been taken away; and all this have they done, that they might pervert the right ways of Science, for money, power, and gain; that they might blind people from using their own reason and understanding to come to rational conclusions about the nature of reality and this universe they live in. This they do to enslave the mind of humans to superstition and folly, so they might control and dominate over the minds of humanity for their own gain as prophets of superstition through their religious dogmas which harm humanity: wherefore, thou seest that after the book hath gone forth through the hands of the great and abominable church with its 1.7 billion shopping mall, while the homeless languished outside, that there are many plain and most rational things taken away from the book, which they called the Book of Mormon; and after these plain and most rational things were taken away, it goeth forth unto all the nations of the Gentiles, not bringing Enlightenment but rather superstition upon substitution, not according to Science, but according to the falsehoods of superstition and religious dogma. Thus the Book of Reason hath been corrupted and shall be corrected by the Prophet of Reason the Seer of Science in these Latter-days.” ----1st Nephi 3:168-175, The Book of Reason: Another Testament of Science, Enlightened Version
The work of translation to bring back that which was “plain and most rational” was begun in October 2014 and continues to this day. This revelation of reason and correction of The Book of Mormon, (now titled with it’s more enlightened and corrected title The Book of Reason: Another Testament of Science) is ongoing via the revelations of Reason and Science through “the Prophet of Reason the Seer of Science.” The Latter-day Humanistic Saints desired at the founding of “the only true and living [Society] upon the face of the whole earth, with which [Science] is well pleased” (D&C 1:30, Enlightened Version) scriptures for which they could live by according to their new and enlightened humanistic religion. Humanistic Mormons everywhere pleaded and meditated daily that the Prophet of Reason, the Seer of Science would produce such a work from his rational mind. Their meditations and pleas were answered and this work is presented to the world not only as a guide for Humanistic Mormons but for all people of reason everywhere. It is believed that by following The Book of Reason the most correct (and the most rational) book of any book on the face of the earth that one can be led to a most Reasonable Life of Reason. Because this translation is the first and goes over some of the most important points for a Life of Reason, it was believed that it ought to be published as soon as the Prophet of Reason deemed it worthy of the world to read. That time hath now come “for they shall be taught unto all nations, kindreds, tongues and people.” Thus all who read this book shall gain enlightenment and rationality in their lives showing the path towards wisdom, philosophy, reason, science, and compassion, and the way out of religious superstition and into the sunlight of Pure Reason.

This Enlightened Version of The Book of Mormon was compared to the 1953 printing of the 1908 edition of the Book of Mormon as published by Herald Publishing House for the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The 1953 copyright has expired and the text is in the public domain, which was carefully reexamined and compared with Reason and Science and corrected in this Enlightened Version of The Book of Mormon; now known as The Book of Reason: Another Testament of Science, with some verse changes.

Be it known unto all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people, unto whom this work shall come, that we, through the grace of Science, and our Reason, have seen the word document which contain this record, which is a record of the people of Reason, and also of the people of Science, their brethren, and also of the people of Philosophy, who came before our current science; and we also know that this document has been translated by the gift and power of Reason, for Reason’s voice hath declared it unto our minds; wherefore we know of a surety, that the work is true. And we also testify that we have seen the words which are upon the document; and they have been shewn unto us by the power of Reason, and not of man or woman. And we declare with words of soberness, that the Prophet of Reason came down from the Ivory Tower, and he brought and laid before our eyes, that we beheld and saw the document, and the words thereon; and we know that it is by the grace of Science, and our Reason, that we beheld and bear record that these things are true; and it is rationally marvelous in our eyes, nevertheless, the voice of the Reason commanded us that we should bear record of it; wherefore, to be obedient unto the commandments of Reason, we bear testimony of these things. And we know that if we are faithful in Reason, we shall rid our garments of the irrationality of all men and women, and be found spotless before the judgment seat of Reason, and shall dwell with Reason and Science eternally in the endless universes. And the honor be to Science, and to Reason, and to Philosophy, which is one. Amen.
