I doubt that the historical Jesus believed that he was Yahweh.  The early Christians were not Trinitarians. Sure, there are passages in the Bible that might make it look like Jesus and Yahweh are the same person, but it doesn't seem likely, when you look examine the finds of Biblical scholars who use textual criticism to figure out what Jesus mostly likely taught his disciples and the people that they preached to in the communities that they visited. Interestingly enough, the Jews are not Trinitarians.  I have Jewish blood in me, though I am mostly African-America, but I am also an atheist.
