Hmmm? I really wonder why the LDS Church are still doing their " I am a Mormon" ads. The Orthodox Mormons largely whitewashes the most controversial aspects of their history, beliefs and practices. Being an ex-Mormon myself, I know that the LDS Church can be very dishonest. There is no doubt that the Book of Mormon has a lot of racist passages and the Church comes up with very unconvincing "reasons" for such racist views, they say such views were only held by men who were corrupted by 19th century prejudices, not my prophets of Yahweh. Doesn't this really put the whole idea of the Book of Mormon being divinely-inspired out of the window?
