Yahweh the confuser

Dear Readers,

An interesting discussion happened on "Black Freethinkers Radio Podcast". Someone mentioned that it is written in the Book of Thessalonians that Yahweh will intentionally lie and deceive those who he does not plan on "saving". Technically, he can lie if he wants. He is a deity after all. It reminds me of how Yahweh "repents" after flooding the world. Who did he "repent" to? Could it have been El-Elyon? You know Yahweh had parents, El-Elyon and Sophia.  He even had brothers. The word "Elohim" is plural. The early Jews were polytheists at one time. Yahweh was even married to Asherah.  There were other deities essentially in the Hebrew Pantheon. The Elohim refers to the council of the gods.  Yahweh is a deity who seems very confused.  Not to mention, the Biblical authors seem to have very different ideas of who he is. Heck, there are even two creation stories in the Torah and both of them contradict each other. The Bible is filled with contradictions, obviously the authors could not agree on very much, just like Christians today don't agree on anything. Think about it.

Sincerely,

B.W.
