Mention of homophobic remark by Tony Dungee on " The Talk"

While watching " The Talk", it was mentioned that Tony Dungee stated that he would not have hired openly gay player, Michael Sam on his team because "things will happen". Dungee belongs to an organization that wants to ban same-sex marriage rights.  He is conservative as "The Talk" hosts mentioned. Sheryl Underwood said if you want to talk "Biblically" and about "sin" where is the criticism of wife-beater , murderers and other people.  She said where is the "love of Christ" and that there are homosexuals in your churches, schools and other places. Where is the acceptance and "forgiveness" because someone might find out something about you. Well, Sheryl,  gay people don't need "forgiveness" over their sexuality because being a homosexual isn't something that you need to be "forgiven" for. Sheryl doesn't seem to realize that people use their religion to justify their homophobic and anti-sexual attitudes. That's something that she doesn't keep in mind.  I agree with Underwood that Tony is entitled to his opinion, but opinions have consequences. Julie Chen stated that she doesn't think that Dungee is a homophobe and he didn't want to deal with what the other players had to say. I disagree with her on that.




Tony Dungee is homophobic and he has hired some screwed up people to play on his team.  He was one of the first black men to become a coach on an integrated team.  He should know what it is like to be viewed as less than human because of who you are.  It doesn't matter whether or not, Tony Dungee " does not condone" homosexuality. Homosexuality doesn't need " condoning" in order to exist. Homosexuality is a part of reality.  The fact is, homosexuality will never go away.  Gays and lesbians as well as bisexuals and transgendered people exist and they aren't going anywhere and as Sheryl Underwood said " This is the world that we live in".  Tony Dungee is a homophobic bigot and just needs to deal with his feelings of hatred and prejudice. He's no better than a racist or misogynist or an anti-Semite. Their all fools in my eyes. Tony Dungee may be a respected NFL coach, but I don't respect his homophobic views. I will also say that heterosexual men check each other out in the locker room, let's not act pretend that straight men don't look at other naked men.  When you see someone with an attractive body, you cannot help but look.  It's part of what makes us human.




 Tony Dungee might even be a closeted gay man since he is obsessed with what gay male couples do with each other in the bedroom. Sheryl Underwood stated that it will go away once Michael Sam leads his team to victory. No, it won't.  Tony Dungee should be ashamed for being a homophobic bigot and we shouldn't let him forget about it. Racism, sexism, homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, anti-Semitism and xenophobia should never be given a free pass in any society.  Think about it
