Dear Readers,
Om "Judge Mathis" a woman named Marquita Norwood and her sister Jasmine Fling went to court over fines that they had to pay regarding Marquita's car. Marquita doesn't drink, smoke or use profane language, but likes going to strip clubs, Jasmine drinks. Judge Mathis asked Marquita if she goes to church, she said no, but she used to. He told Marquita she should go to church because that should be her center, the church should be her center. Well, if Marquita Norwood chooses not to go to church, than she doesn't have to. He asked if he she had "illicit sex" or sex before marriage, she said that she did until she got married to her husband that she separated from. I don't think there is anything wrong with having sex before marriage or having sex without being married. People do that and they have the right to do that. He then said something about the one "sin" that she committed and mentioned something about Ezekiel and someone going to "heaven" without get and then told both of the sisters that they "were going to hell", although I'm sure that he was just kidding.
I'd don't think asking questions about people's beliefs are appropriate in a court of law. If an atheist, Hindu, Buddhist, Laveyan Satanist or Scientologist were to do it, you know that people would complain. Think about it.
Sincerely,
B.W.
