So now it's "gay" Doritos, eh?  [sigh]  These poor believing fools ... some of 'em, anyway ... will just believe ANYTHING, won't they?
PA-THE-TIC.

Never mind climate change, ISIS, the refugee crisis and a Republican primary field that resemble piranha more than politicians. There's a far more pressing catastrophe afoot: gay Doritos!

 As Rolling Stone reported

'Gay' Doritos Prompt Freak-Out
A special bag of Doritos benefiting the It Gets Better Project has bigots foaming at the mouth

BY AMANDA MARCOTTE September 18, 2015
. . . Specifically, homophobic bigots are freaking out about Doritos this week, upon the news that the popular cheesy chip-maker is releasing a special rainbow-colored bag in partnership with the It Gets Better Project, a non-profit established by sex advice columnist Dan Savage to combat mental illness and suicide in LGBT youth. Conservative media is not interested in your talk of preventing youth suicide, it seems. That bag looks queer, dammit, and they will not have it.
Cheese dust will turn you kids gay
"Doritos are a product marketed to children, so they make the perfect gateway snack to introduce children to the joys of homosexuality," writes Ed Straker of the ironically named American Thinker website. "What business does PepsiCo have pushing homosexuality on our kids?"

Good for Pataki.
what's up with the name, "Kim". Back in the good old days, we had Kim Novak - cool. Now all we have is Kim Kardashian, and Lil Kim, and Kim Jung Il, and now the insufferable Kim Davis. Did someone put a curse on the name? I dont even want to look at Kimchi any more.

Kudos to George Pataki for saying he would have fired Kim Davis. He also said there's one place in the world where religion precedes the rule of law - Iran.

I embedded this video on Don's post on the same topic.  Liked it so much, here it is where it's equally appropriate.

I get the feeling that Ms. Davis isn't very bright.
Ruth, that chemistry gif is adorable..

That's funny, Ruth!  I love it.

Carl, The Onion is sometimes my main news source. The fake news is more real than news on some news sites. The commentary is more insightful.

I love The Onion.  This is not LGBTQI related, but yesterday I got a good laugh at this headline and article.

Hopefully there's a consumer message on the bag explaining how many it takes before a strapping young lad will start craving dick. Are two enough?? Are three too many???

Hmmmm. what was my personal gateway snack to the joys of homosexuality? I dont know. Considering my introduction to said joys, it must have been Army K rations. Yumm!
.

Comment by Bertold Brautigan on Friday
Yes Daniel, his choice of words with "gateway snack to introduce children to the joys of homosexuality" almost made him sound like an aficionado of those joys (or maybe a Catholic priest).

Comment by Daniel W on Friday
"Gateway Snack" to homosexuality. Are you sure that's not from The Onion?
.

Comment by Daniel W on Friday
The Onion had a good take on the gay Doritos.
frankly, I dont think Doritos are gay. I think the ginger wasabi potato chips are gay. And the pacific truffle potato chips.
They're just jealous because no one made christian Doritos. But they have communion wafers.
