Gore Vidal's semi-SF novel, Live From Golgotha, is (IIRC) about an attempt to film the crucifiction and resurrection.  It's been what seems like a long time since I read it, and it has disappeared from our family collection (my JW/Aspie sister may have had something to do with that), but I do remember quietly laughing all the way through it.  Obviously, it's memorable.("Jesus" weighs over 400 lbs...LOL!)

If you can find a copy, BUY it!  And enjoy it.

I wonder how sk8eycat's autistic JW sister would react if sk8eycat threw out some of her "Watchtower" or "Awake!" magazines, if she did in fact throw out their family's copy of the Gore Vidal's novel "Live from Golgotha"?  The  Jehovah's Witnesses aren't really well-known for their tolerance of opinions that don't support their denominational beliefs, history or practices, which seems to imply to me that they aren't as secure in their beliefs as they would like everyone else to believe.
