I doubt Jesus Christ is 'lord'.  I don't think 'delighting yourself' in Yahweh will make him
give you the desires of your heart because I don't think Yahweh exists. This passage from the Book of Psalms seems cherry-picked and it doesn't seem to have anything with the Abrahamic god playing
matchmaker for mortal humans.


I also thought it was a 'honor'
for Christians to voluntarily
choose to be single for their entire lives?



Maybe it's only an 'honor' when
unmarried heterosexuals or gay people
are manipulated into doing it at the expense
of having to loose fully equal membership and all the
 privileges of their specific Christian denomination
when they decide that they really  don't
want to live a life without romance and sex.
