How could any LGBT person oppose same-sex marriage? Why wouldn't same-sex couples want the same legal recognition of their relationships that heterosexuals already receive for their relationships? A gay person who opposes same-sex marriage, is like a black person who opposes racial integration.  I'm a black heterosexual married woman and I have some Jewish blood in me as well, I practice aspects of secular Jewish culture and I also identify as an atheist.  I couldn't imagine any minority group not wanting the same rights, privileges and responsibilities that are granted to the majority of people.  Colored youths have it tough right now with all of these racist policemen who are legally getting away with gunning down African-American teenage boys. Blacks have to deal with an unfair legal system that refuses to bring these murderous enforcers of civil law to justice.  Could you imagine a black youth not wanting to be protected from the brutalities that are being brought upon police offers who are supposed to be protecting all citizens regardless of their skin color, ethnicity or national origin?
