I think that Islam like Christianity and the religious aspects of Judaism has a deep hatred of women and their sexuality. The Hebrew patriarchs seemed to be only concerned with ensuring that little Jewish baby boys are born who they could castrate and indoctrinate them into becoming Rabbis. This tradition happens today. Most Jews today don't think of themselves as the "chosen" people from what I know and castration is really quite an ugly practice. Mutilating a child's genitals without that child's person or knowledge of any consequences that go with this procedure is really quite abhorrent. Now, Muslim men can marry up to five women. Fundamentalist Mormons practice polygamy despite the fact the Orthodox Mormons have discontinued it. The FLDS Church also has a significant proportion of inbred members. I feel sorry for those poor kids! Islam encourages the beating of women and views their worth as being less than that of a man. Their treatment of non-Abrahamic religious persons, spiritual persons, non-religious persons, former Muslims and the LGBT community are quite disturbing.  It is no wonder  why so many young Muslims, like Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Baha'i s and religious Jews are questioning the logical and moral "validity" of the beliefs and practices of their religions.  I remember reading through LGBT Muslim websites, I disagreed with but understood why LGBT Muslims still cherished certain aspects of their religion and found it a shame that they didn't have a same-sex partner that they were in a romantically and sexually active relationship with or go through a sex-change operation while still holding onto some of their cultural Muslim beliefs. Well, LGBT Muslims are probably better off leaving Islam. The stories of ex-Muslims are just heartbreaking.

Islam acts like how Christianity was in the Middle Ages. I would never want to be a Muslim even if the religion were "true" because it is quite immoral. The same goes for why I would never want to be a Jehovah's Witness or a Seventh-day Adventist ever again ( my experience was mostly positive in this denomination despite the fact I am quite liberal). One bad aspect of religion is that it's views and practices can never change and the detestable passages in religious texts cannot be changed. It's no wonder that religion is being viewed more negatively around the world.
