Growing Pains, thanks James.
Maybe Kirk should see Ted Haggerty?
I saw Haggerty for the first time on R.Dawkins Root of All Evil, &  his eyes gave me a fright right then & there.

@C.L.A.W.S. The title was Growing Pains, and Cameron was cute as a button. I don't think I missed an episode. He played a character that is 180-degrees away from the guy he is now that he's having a midlife crisis and remembers the night he took some K and cocaine and fucked his brains out with one of the show's groupies, one of many. He is now feeling guilty about those years and has found Jesus. What a shame. Gay men tell me he is bisexual but in denial. Christianity will do that to a person. That's why Ted Turner called it "a religion for losers."

He played the son in an Alan Thicke tv show a few decades ago, but the show's title escapes me. He was thought to be a cute kid, (according to other opinions) but he couldn't act as far as I remember. Grew up to be a pukey adult.

Who is Kirk Cameron?  I never heard of hiim, so IMO he's a "never-was," just like Jeebus.
OR....maybe it's a case of "methinks the [person] doth protest too much."
When someone starts yammering about "sin" to me, I ask them to define the word.  Most xians can't.  They just stammer.

Kirk Cameron - "God Hates Fags!"

The youtube video was taken down by "Living Waters Productions".  I watched it earlier today.  Maybe a transcript will show up.  Cameron stated that Christians need to tell gay people that they are sinning and headed to hell, and that god hates gay people, then added "God hates fags and they are going to hell".

I imagine they took down the video because of the backlash.  All I can say is, I did watch it earlier, and the quote is accurate.

Kirk Cameron is rapidly heading down the path to a first class slimeball homophobe.  In fact, he's already there.  It's probably a way to make a better living than he could make as a has-been former child actor.

I went to the Living Waters Production webside - the first popup was a movie ad for their upcoming movie about homosexuality...  interesting timing there.

CLAWS - you are right, teens can and do tell lies, sometimes big, dangerous lies.  The legal issue is, in the eyes of the law it doesn't matter if the teen lied, pursued the adult, and initiated the situation.  In the law, the adult is fully responsible.  It may well be like the story of Lolita, fictional, who ruined lives.  I guess if Bean had "carded" the 15 year old, he could have avoided this situation.  I don't know that anyone cards the people who they get involved with.

Bean's fall sounds like a Greek tragedy.  Led down the path to destruction by his gullibility and infatuation with a beautiful lover - the 20 something meth addict / criminal who he fell for and who attacked him, extorted, and was involved in the situation with the 15 year old.

Isn't it true that teens can lie like sidewalks? I remember lots of kids saying they were 18 when they plainly weren't, & lots of others who did look of age.
If some bleeding hearts didn't make such a huge deal out of sex, & mind their own p's & q's, maybe it wouldn't be so stretched out of proportion by the media.

James you are right there are a lot of unanswered questions. Snd of course, everyone has feet of ckay. Most if us just dont know it. what was a 15 year old doing on an adult website? And the person being taken advantage of may have been Bean. He might have thought the young man was if age. But they say, not knowing is not an excuse. I guess he should have checked the drivers license.
Anyway, it's all speculation. And I still hate to see this happen.
The gay mayor of Portland, Sam Adams, had a similar underage liason(s). I dont know about Oregon. Must be something in the water. The "gay Lolita virus"? Is that Lolito?

@Daniel W, in enlightened countries, such as those free of religious bigotry, and where the age of consent is more in line with what we know about not only child development but scientific theories of nature over nurture causality, fifteen is not subject to statutory rape. Our laws need revamping considerably, bearing in mind the old 7's "law" based on the notion that 7's are a lifetime change number so that laws were passed to apply to those under 7, over 14, and, as is currently the law with regard to drinking, 21. Also ignored by the report is the level of sexual sophistication the boy had. I'd like to defend these men in court. Blow this whole issue up. For all we know, that 15 year old knew more about sex than both of the adults combined.

Why would you anyone want to be with a man like this? Nice, good-looking, possibly bigoted and is somewhat paranoid

Dear Readers,

I was watching the dating show "Baggage" with a friend. One woman was proposed to several times. One boyfriend hating her singing and another boyfriend happened to like men better.  One of the men on "Baggage" that she could have ended up with was against marriage, kids, religion and belongs to an orgy society. To disagree with marriage or religion is one thing, but how can you be against kids? The guy that this woman ended up with on "Baggage" liked skydiving, would rather adopt a child than have one through procreation and lives underground to survive the "apocalypse".  I don't know how or why this woman would want to live with someone who is obsessed with the "end of the world".  He would sound too paranoid to spend anytime with her. This dude made fun of the other guy who was against marriage, kids, religion and belonged to an orgy society by saying that he would be having sex with Frodo on top of his house during the "Apocalypse" and felt that this other man must live a lonely life, which the other guy denied.  The guy who fears the apocalypse and seems homophobic, I'd hate to see what would happen if he adopted a child who turned out to be LGBT with this woman.  What if they adopt and child and that child turns out to be an atheist?

What if they adopt a child and that child figures out that he doesn't really care for his dad's apocalyptic views. Believe me, I grew up as a JW, was involved with Seventh-day Adventism and Mormonism, so I am no stranger to apocalyptic thinking.  I know that type of thinking as good as I know my name.

Sincerely,

B.W.

Is this an "ex-gay" ad that I came across?

Don't Let Addiction Ruin Your Life
Find Treatment Now

Homosexuality is not an "addiction" and homosexuals don't need "treatment". Why can't consenting adults lead their own lives in peace as long as they are not hurting anyone else?

Sorry, but I'm pasting in the Rude 1's entire blog for the day.

The Gay Greatest Generation Vets and How to Honor Them

Even at 92, you can bet that Lt. Rupert "Twink" Starr could kick your ass. Sent over to Europe in 1944, he was helping the fight the Nazis in the Battle of the Bulge and was captured by the Germans. "Starr survived a series of harrowing travails as a POW, including eight days in a boxcar jammed far beyond capacity with other prisoners and forced marches in subzero weather." Yeah, Starr is a motherfuckin' part of the greatest part of the so-called "Greatest Generation." And Twink loves cock. He's a knobgobbler who was together with his interior designer partner, Allan Wingfield, in Ohio for over 50 years.
Starr's story is all over the place this Veterans' Day because, frankly, it's a suck-on-this to everyone who ever opposed having gay men and women in the military. "This old dandy took on Hitler," it says. "What the fuck did you do in your 20s? Tailgate?" And, yeah, his nickname really is "Twink."
Gay vets from World War II will kick your prejudices right in the nutsack. It proves that everything homophobes believe is wrong because if the decorated soldiers who went toe-to-toe with the Germans and the Japanese were bonesmokers, what other false gods do you worship?
Last year, two vets, a 95 year-old WWII vet and a 67 year-old Vietnam vet, both dudes, made news when they got married at a veterans' senior living home in California. While a couple of the cranky old bastards were upset, they had their ceremony without event. Said one anti, "I just know that it’s against my faith and my religion, but as Americans they have a right to do what they want to do." Yup, old hater, yup.
So these LGBT Great Ones are still fighting. Earlier this year, Robina Asti, who, when she was Robert Astley, flew combat missions for the Navy in World War II before transitioning in the 1970s, won her deceased husband's survivor benefits from Social Security. That we're still having these movie-of-the-week battles in the 21st century is shameful to all of us.
Maybe, just maybe, while every politician is spending the day spouting encomiums to the once-warriors, young and old, talking about their bravery, talking about their service, talking especially about the ones still alive from the "Greatest Generation," maybe they could pass the Restore Honor to Service Members Act that has languished for over a year. Maybe we can do something for the 114,000 veterans who were dishonorably discharged for just being themselves. Maybe we can shut the fuck up for a few minutes and put our laws where our filthy mouths are.

The person in that senior home stated that they know that gay marriage is against their faith and their religion, but as Americans they have the right to do what they want to do. Well, sir or ma'am, if gay marriage which is merely two consenting adult people of the same-sex expressing their love for one another through legal recognition is against your faith and your religion, then your faith and your religion has a lot of problems if it is against love and endorses things like slavery, deity-mandated genocide and forcing pregnant Hebrew women accused of adultery to drink poison to see if she really did cheat on her husband. Uh-oh, that means a lot of women are in trouble!  It is a good thinks that America gives people freedoms that fundamentalist Christianity doesn't.
