The USA is going through "The Crazy Years,"  With Pat Robertson playing the role of Nehemiah Scudder and the Neo Puritans disguising themselves as the Tea Party.

One more video on the Marriage Equality constitutional referendum in Ireland on May 22, 2015. Mrs. Brown's Boys, and it's great. And, I think it is funny. And, as it turns out, Ireland (one of the MOST Catholic countries in the world), is wayyyy ahead of the US on marriage equality. Over 70% of the voters in the Republic are in favor of it. Maybe my family's homeland has finally thrown off the tyranny of both London and Rome.

I watched the Bruce Jenner interview and was right along with her going through a lot of the same things that I went through even though I was a lot older than she is now.  Then she blew it. She may be rich but that does not fix stupid.  She stated she is a Republican.  Of LGBT she as I claim two letters L & T and for her to support Republican lunacy is rather like a Jew supporting the Nazi party.  I wonder if they will try and dump her now that she has come out?

Well, I take dickhead as meaning not very smart. If you're pulling down $1M + a year you may not be stupid to be a Republican, but you're still a fuckhead, which I take as meaning an asshole.

@ Daniel - You're right, and I'd extend that to say that any gay guys that even are republicans are total dickheads, unless they have mitigating circumstances like being obscenely rich, in which case being Republican is in their self-interest.

Meanwhile, via gawker.com, anti-gay North Dakota Republican was outed by a potential pick-up on the gay sex app "Grinder".  Randy Boehning went by the name "Top man" and claimed to be "always horny lol".  "He initally refused to answer questions about his apptivity when contacted two weeks ago. On Saturday, he told the paper, regarding his sending of a dick pic, “That’s what gay guys do on gay sites, don’t they? That’s how things happen on Grindr. It’s a gay chat site. It’s not the first thing you do on that site. That’s what we do, exchange pics on the site.”   I suppose that's to demonstrate that the app client practices excellent hygiene and furthermore does not possess unsightly lesions or tattoos where they don't belong.  As someone who was way past that stage before cell phones even had apps - actually, before there were cell phones, and yes I am that old - let alone Grindr, I can't verify Boehning's assessment, but knowing the gay community I venture with 99.9% confidence he's 100% right.  Also, with 99.9% confidence that gay or bi guys who are Republicans and vote antigay are just plain dickheads regardless of what they post on Grindr.
